Why we built Plugsky

Plugsky was founded on a simple observation: the AI industry was building incredible capabilities, but all of them ran on infrastructure controlled by a handful of companies in a handful of countries. Enterprises in the rest of the world were expected to trust their most sensitive data to servers they could not see, in jurisdictions they did not choose. That model is not sustainable. We built Plugsky to give every organization — in every country — access to world-class AI that they actually control.

The problem the giants won't fix

The major AI labs have no incentive to offer sovereign AI. Their business model depends on centralized infrastructure where they control the data, the models, and the pricing. Sovereignty is not a feature they can add — it requires a fundamentally different architecture. By building sovereign-first, Plugsky addresses the market that the giants are structurally unable to serve.

What we've learned building in public

Building a sovereign AI platform means solving hard problems that centralized providers never face: deploying and managing models across diverse infrastructure, maintaining OpenAI compatibility while running on non-standard hardware, and proving data residency to skeptical compliance teams. Every deployment makes our platform stronger and more battle-tested.

Where we're headed
